The issue with the charge door thinking it is open when it really is closed is happening more often. I still rap on the door a few times when I close it, but that doesn't always do it. And sometimes it does it at first, and then later I will hear the chime and see the message that the charge door is open. I'm sure it's a simple fix, but I don't think it needs a special trip to the dealer when I can just dismiss the message.

Change in Commute
Since I am barely putting 8000 miles a year on my car these days, it seems like I'm not going to have any problem staying within the 12000 mile annual allowance on my lease. But if ever that was in doubt, I can breathe easy as I am going to be reducing my driving even further. I am now scheduled to telecommute 2 days a week so that's about 64 miles less per week. That means unless I start taking some trips, I won't even drive 5000 miles per year. Man, that's leaving a lot of miles on the table. I better start doing some serious pleasure driving.
