A Second Volt At My Office!

A friend in a different department at work has taken the plunge and gotten a Volt! Now there will be two of us there. Our employer is installing Level 2 chargers at one of our office buildings nearby and my friend will be able to take advantage of those when they open for use sometime this month. There is a company-provided shuttle between buildings or, on a nice day, he could easily walk there. His commute is 40 miles one way so charging at work is important to him. He told me that until those chargers are open, he found one in a nearby public parking structure that is $0.25 per half-hour of charging, so he can use that and walk the nine minutes to the office from there. Not bad!
